Na big celebration for Niger Delta as the 142 Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) scholarship students don land for Heathrow Airport, London for their long-awaited study abroad journey.

Among the group wey touch down, Justice from Ugbolukanga Community, Egbema Kingdom, stand out as he no fit hide him joy. Justice yarn say this na dream come true:

“My people, na God handwork be dis. We reach London safe and sound, no accident, no wahala. I thank PAP Administrator well-well because na this scholarship make me dey here today. We go take this chance serious – na book we come read, and we go make Ugbolukanga and Niger Delta proud.”


πŸŽ™ Voices from Other Students

Another student, from Gbaramatu Kingdom, talk say:

“The journey no easy but we thank God say we land well. Na time to face book now – we no come here to play. When we finish, we go come back build our land.”

One female student still add her own:

“This na golden opportunity. As I see London airport, tears commot my eye. I go do well for school, make PAP no regret sponsor me.”


πŸŽ‰ Jubilation Back Home

For Ugbolukanga Community, parents and elders dey dance and rejoice. Some even do small thanksgiving service for church say God don carry their pikin go obodo oyibo safe.

Community leaders hail PAP:

“This programme dey bring peace to Niger Delta. As dem train our youths, dem go no longer carry gun. Make PAP continue this good work.”


🌍 Bigger Picture

The students go soon begin classes for different universities and colleges across the UK. According to PAP management, this initiative na to groom future leaders wey go return with knowledge to change Niger Delta story.

This latest batch of students don ginger hope for other Niger Delta youths wey dey wait for their own chance. PAP still promise say more training and education opportunities dey come.
