Abuja — Wahala bust for FCT as news spread say Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf, wey dem sabi as Buhun Barkonun, don kpai for Abuja hotel. Na dis same Buhun wey be big anti-EndSARS voice for 2020 protests and Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to AMAC Chairman, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu.

Wetin Happen Before E Die

Report talk say Buhun check in for one hotel for Karu-Jikwoyi area on Tuesday, September 8, 2025, with one babe wey dem call Ruth. During e stay, Buhun no chop food but him drink alcohol well well. Dem talk say on the morning wey he kpai, Ruth buy energy drink for am because she see say e body no too dey okay. Few minutes after he drink am, Buhun fall comot like person wey no get power.

Hotel staff and Ruth rush am go nearby hospital but doctor talk say e don already die before dem reach.

Police don start investigation to know wetin really kill am.

Buhun As Anti-EndSARS Person

Buhun first blow for public radar during October 2020 #EndSARS protest wey happen for across Naija. Na him write letter to Inspector General of Police that time, tell protesters make dem comot for road say dem dey disturb Abuja people.

For October 22, 2020, Buhun still drop Facebook post say:

“#IStandWithMyOpinion the #EndSARS protest don hijack and e dey bring security wahala. We no fit scatter FCT peace because na here we dey live. If you wan cause tension, we no go support am.”

Him even give protesters 48 hours ultimatum make dem clear road before minister announce ban for protest.

AMAC Chairman React

AMAC Chairman, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, don express serious pain for statement wey e media aide, Kingsley Madaki, release. He call Buhun “dedicated public servant and bridge builder” wey help community development well well.

He send condolence to Buhun family, friends and people of FCT.

Burial Arrangement

Wake-keep go happen Monday, September 15, 2025, 4:00 p.m. for ECWA Church, Kpaduma 1. Burial service go hold Tuesday, September 16, 2025, 9:00 a.m. for same place.
