Warri: NYCN Delta Beg Youths Make Dem Choose Peace

National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Delta State Chapter, don cry put for the wahala wey happen yesterday for Warri South Local Government Area wey claim one life and injure plenty people.

Delta State NYCN Chairman, Comrade Sagboje Odiri Milton, CLN, wey react to the sad news, call the gbege “tragic, painful and setback for peace wey dem dey try build for the area.”

Comrade Sagboje talk say e pain am well well as e hear the news.

“My heart heavy when I hear wetin happen. Na bad day for our people and I dey feel for the family wey lose person and those wey wound. Make we know say without peace, development no go happen. Make we dey keep one another because peace na priceless thing.”

E beg the youths for Warri make dem drop fight and wahala, make dem choose dialogue and settlement. E still call traditional rulers, security people and Delta State Government make dem enter the matter quick so that the gbege no go grow pass this level.

Comrade Sagboje remind youths say the future na dem own and dem no suppose use violence destroy the better tomorrow wey dem dey look for.

“We no fit use hatred and fight scatter ourselves,” e talk. “The future na for us wey be youths, so make we build am with peace, love, tolerance and unity.”

NYCN Delta State Chapter send condolence give the family wey lose person and pray make God give dem strength. Dem still beg all stakeholders for Delta make dem work together to bring lasting peace back to Warri and the whole state.

This call for peace come at the right time as Warri dey try turn to big center for business and culture. Without peace, all these better plan no go work.
